Oregon Deserves Better
Working together, we can find a new path forward.
-

Housing
Housing instability and homelessness are connected challenges across Oregon, and my focus is on improving how systems work and supporting locally grounded responses rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.
-

State Government Efficiency
Politics have made government a bad word. Times have changed, and what used to work is broken. My focus is on improving how state agencies function, reducing silos, and eliminating inefficiencies so we are not just doing more with less, but making sure what we do actually works.
-

Healthcare & Mental Health
Access to care is shrinking across Oregon, especially in rural communities, and mental health and addiction care cannot be separated from the broader healthcare system. My focus is on strengthening access, supporting providers, and making sure care is available before crisis becomes the only option.
-

Public Safety
Emergency Services: We need to support our public safety officers with access to the resources they need to best serve our communities.
Public safety depends on accountability and systems that work. Our roads are becoming less safe as traffic laws are ignored and infrastructure continues to deteriorate. We must hold drivers accountable for their own safety and the safety of others, ensure every 911 call reaches a human with timely response, and support rural volunteer fire departments so communities are not left without help when emergencies happen.
-

Water Infrastructure
Oregon’s water systems are aging and under strain. My focus is on maintaining and repairing critical infrastructure, improving coordination, and ensuring communities have safe, reliable water before failures become crises.
-

Education
Oregon’s education challenges did not begin with COVID. My focus is on returning to strong fundamentals, reducing overreliance on screens, expanding hands-on learning, and ensuring education opens real pathways to opportunity beyond a single college track.
-

Oregon Taxes
Oregon’s property tax system no longer reflects current growth or costs. My focus is on improving public understanding of how taxes are set and spent, examining property and transient lodging taxes, and working with local governments to develop options voters can decide on.
-

Oregon's Economic Future
A sustainable economy starts with getting our house in order. My focus is on building stability from the bottom up by strengthening education, workforce, and access to care so Oregon can grow responsibly and regain trust in its ability to lead.

Building A More Resilient Future
What worked before is no longer working. Building the next hundred years requires broader engagement, shared responsibility, and ensuring the entire state, not just the I-5 corridor, has a seat at the table.
